FOUNDER - Maria Botta
Botta owes her passion for making the world a better place, from her travels around the world, first as a child with her
family, and later as an adult. Everywhere she travels, she sees it as an opportunity to learn of new ideas and ways of
solving human problems that help business and spur innovation. Botta’s professional experience extends into all
genres of production and marketing, working on multicultural and international projects for TV, entertainment and
Madison Ave. After spending nearly two decades working as a top Executive in her field, Botta completed an EMBA
from Thunderbird’s prestigious program in Geneva, Switzerland, receiving her degree in Global Management in 2011.
Today, Botta is most excited about working with client in the convergence of technology, creativity, entertainment and
commerce as a way of helping organizations move forward and grow. With that in mind, she founded FWD ACTION, a
digital strategy consultancy. FWD ACTION allows Botta to continue to do the work that brings her the most
professional and personal satisfaction, working with great people and companies to move organizational goals forward
in the digital landscape.
She is a regular contributor to Latin Business Today and a guest blogger, writing on business topics, creativity and
Latina entrepreneurship. Active in several non-profits, Botta serves on the Advisory Boards of the Copperbridge
Foundation, advising the foundation on all digital and social media initiatives, and webcitygirls//. She is also working
on a book based on her life experiences.
