Baptism of the Holy Spirit, Part Two
1.
2. Acts 2:1-4
1 When the day of Pentecost had come, they were all
together in one place.
2 And suddenly there came from heaven a noise like a
violent rushing wind, and it filled the whole house
where they were sitting.
3. 3 And there appeared to them tongues as of fire
distributing themselves, and they rested on each
one of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and
began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit
was giving them utterance.
4. For over 55 years, the love of the Father, the name
of Jesus, the absolute authority of God’s word
and the power of the Holy Spirit have been the
bedrock of the Teen Challenge ministry.

It happened that while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed
through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found
some disciples. He said to them, "Did you receive the Holy
Spirit when you believed?“ Acts 19:1 -2
5. Many feel the primary function of the Holy Spirit
baptism is to give you power to minister.
The primary function of the Holy Spirit baptism
is to give you power to LIVE.
He said to them, "It is not for you to know times or epochs which
the Father has fixed by His own authority;
8 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirt has come upon
you; and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem, and in all
Judea and Samaria, and even to the remotest part of the earth."
Acts 1:7-8
6. We are submerged in the Holy Spirit-
that we might be immersed in Jesus.
He commanded them not to leave Jerusalem, but to wait
for what the Father had promised, "Which," He said, "you
heard of from Me; 5 for John baptized with water, but you
will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from
now." Acts 1:4-5
20 But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most
holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourself in the
Love of God. Jude 1:20-21
8. HOW DO I RECEIVE?
God does not always jump when we CALL,
He always responds when we repent !
Repentance is more than I am sorry. More than I feel bad.
It is, “I am Ready!” Ready to hear. Ready to change. Ready to obey.
Acts 2:38
Peter said to them , "Repent, and
each of you be baptized in the name
of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of
your sins; and you will receive the
gift of the Holy Spirit.
10. WHAT NEXT?
Acts 2:38
Peter said to them, "Repent,
and each of you be baptized in
the name of Jesus Christ for
the forgivenes of your sins; and
you will receive the gift
of the Holy Spirit.
