Character profiles

  1. 1. The character Danni is played by Beth Aldred, in the picturesabove you can really tell we worked on costumes as the leftpicture is how Beth would normally dress, compared withhow she needed to be represented in the opening of ourfilm.Danni is Tay’s best friend. She is struggling with an abusiverelationship, we tried to represent this through the bruiseon her arm but still not make it too clear what was going onas it is only an opening. In the opening of WALK you see that she has committedsuicide, this creates narrative enigma.
  2. 2. The character Tay is played by Tiff Bourne, in the picturesabove you can really tell we worked on costumes as the leftpicture is how Tiff would normally dress, compared with howshe needed to be represented in the opening of our film.In the opening Tay is perceived as an aggressive yet comicalcharacter, we did this so the audience could relate to ourmain character instantly. The opening is about Tay’s journey back to her and herfriends flat to find a shocking discovery. Although the phonecall, and her walking into and being aggressive to a passer bygives you an insight to the type of personality she has.
  3. 3. The passer by is played by Dan. He is only a minor characterand would only appear in the opening, but he helps showTay’s aggressive nature. His short line of “Alright calm down” shows he is an innocentcharacter, who did not provoke her to react like that inanyway. This really help portray Tay’s persona.
