Draught Pick iPhone application, website and API

Overview:
Draught Pick is a mobile game to play along with live televised
footy, testing your true football instincts. It’s not just tipping, it’s
not just trivia, it’s not just knowing the game. It’s doing it all, and
better than the guy next to you.

Inlight was engaged by Clemenger Proximiti as a development
partner in the production of the Draught Pick iPhone application
and supporting website.

What we did:
Inlight developed the complete Carlton Draught Pick solution
from specification and designs provided by Clemenger Proximiti.
This included the development of a custom web server and API,
iPhone application, public website, and administrator portal. The
solution takes advantage of several new technologies such as
Node.js and MongoDB to provide a high-performance, robust
solution.

The Draught Pick application has had over 65,000 downloads,
and supports over 10,000 concurrent users.

MiiBrand iPhone application, web application and API



Overview:
MiiBrand gives users access to exclusive offers from the fashion
brands they love and rewards them for being a loyal customer.
For fashion Brands, MiiBrand provides a unique service that
allows them to target customers with highly tailored offers, and
push them to their feed or when they are within walking distance
of one of their stores.

Inlight was engaged by two entreprenuers from the fashion &
digital marketing space and have worked together to build and
support the MiiBrand product.

What we did:
Inlight worked with MiiBrand through all stages of the project
from definition and design through to build and deployment.
MiiBrand utilises the performance and real-time nature of a
nodeJS/MongoDB/Redis stack, that feeds both web and iPhone
versions of the user application.

MiiBrand currently has over 24 top-end brands on board including
Sportsgirl, Witchery, adidas, Diesel and more.

Stockland iPhone + iPad application and API


Stockland iPhone + iPad application and API

Overview:
Inlight was engaged by Stockland to develop a mobile solution
that would allow users to visualise what living in the Highlands
estate would be like, as well as answering commonly asked
questions about the community and its facilities.

The result was an iPhone and iPad application that provides a
self-guided tour of the Highlands community, and brings to life
its features and benefits as well as upcoming plans. Users can
take a tour of the Highlands Villages, navigate to facilities around
them, or browse currently available house and land packages.

What we did:
Inlight developed a hybrid iPhone/iPad application that used the
Google MapKit framework extensively to allow users to browse
and navigate the Highlands estate. The maps were overlayed
with custom rendered street maps, which allowed a more
detailed and polished view of the community whilst continuing
to provide all of the standard maps features. A custom server
application was also developed to serve the application with
property listings and images via an API.

Twelevision iPhone + iPad application and API


Twelevision iPhone + iPad application and API

Overview:
Twelevision was an idea born out of Clemenger Proximity team,
that would bring together the experience of watching live TV and
related conversations over Twitter. Together, we built an iPad and
iPhone applications that allow users to easily find programs that
they are currently watching and follow the live conversation that
is going on between viewers. This experience is enhanced by the
addition of quick response ‘stickers’ and rewarding user activity
through a series of badges that can be earned over time..

What we did:
We developed a completely custom server application and
API using NodeJS and MongoDB. This provided a number of
benefits to our solution, the foremost being rapid, asynchronous
processing. As-well as serving all data to the client applications,
this server application was reponsible for receiving large xml-
based program guides from HWW (nineMSN), and pasing the
data into a suitable format in our database.

The Twelevision application relies heavily on Twitter, and makes
use of their xAuth, oAuth, REST API, and Streaming API services.

Tom Waterhouse Blog, Microsites, Mobile Site, Online VIP Application



Overview:
Inlight has been working with Fenton Stephens and Tom
Waterhouse directly over the last few years to provide
development support for a number of online projects. These
include the Tom Waterhouse Blog & mobile template, Toms Place
Flash/Javascript microsite, VIP application site, careers website,
and Melbourne Cup site and admin portal.

What we did:
Inlight has made use of several online technologies to deliver the
suite of Tom Waterhouse sites and applications. These include
HTML5, Flash AS3, JavaScript, Wordpress, and CakePhp.
