You began Your universitY career on a path
towards a psYchologY degree. what drove You
to switch directions and pursue a career in
the oil and gas service and supplY industrY?
There came a point that I realized that the path I was on was
not where I wanted to go, so I made the decision to make a
change. Being an Alberta girl, I was exposed to a lot of people
who were involved in oil and gas growing up. I discovered
that I was keenly interested in working with people and learn-
ing new technologies. Once I realized that, it was a very
simple decision to start my career in this industry.
You’ve been with weatherford since 2002, in
various capacities. how did that background
