The Fourth Year of our Degree in Editing, post-production and sound aims to get editors to widen their perspectives toward different ways of make cinema and understand it. Students will realize short films in 35mm, Red Epic and Red One Digital Cinema with coordination of the projects and a detailed follow-up of the work of the different film crews.

4.- Rendering and finishing projects .

OBJETIVES AND STRUCTURE
The Fourth Year of our Degree in Editing,
Post-Production and Sound aims at consolida-
ting the knowledge acquired and at absorbing
the technique of editing, sonorization and
finalising of film projects. As a student, you will
apply the knowledge acquired in the shooting
and editing of two 35 mm short films, six 16 mm
shootings and the Cineminutes, performing
different roles and taking part in the projects
from beginning to end. We want you to look for
your own style as a creator and film technician,
to become confident in yourself and in your
way of working in a professional environment.
We will coordinate and monitor projects, as well
as following closely the work of the different film
crews.At the end of the FourthYear editing and
sound teams will be chosen for the six 35 mm
projects among the students who have shown
the best evolution in all exercises of the Degree

• MIXES II. Dolby 5.1 and other digital systems. The 3D Sound. Supervised
mixes of the Red Epic Short Film made by Student Directors.
• Direct Sound IV. Practicum Sound Catchment. Samplers. Previous voicing
work.

• Viva Italia: From Antonioni, Fellini and Visconti to the ugliness of Pasolini.
EastWinds. Brazil:The aesthetics of hunger and violence. Cinemas of the Far East:
Eros and Thanatos. Young Swedish and a huge filmmaker (Bergman). Germany
again. Belgium: Between the fantastic and hyperrealism. Stateless.
• The view. The tone. The theme and tempo.
• Hollywood in the era of new cinema. The renewal of the comedy. The
Twilight and Wild: Peckinpah. The TV generation: Mulligan, Lumet, Pollack...
European influence. Neoclassicism. Great Expectations.The domain of technolo-
