3. A Design Cycle is a problem solving method
that we have been using for years without
knowing.
This problem solving method was not taught
directly by teachers in grade school but this is a
skill we developed through daily activities
and project.
There are 4 steps in the Design Cycle. We have:
Investigate, Plan, Create and Evaluate.

5. According to my research online:
It is intended to be the central tool to help
students to create and evaluate solutions in
response to challenges. The MYP technology
design cycle consist of four major stages—note
how the Polya method has four steps that are
basically the same. The Design Cycle is more
general in its approach and is the standard
methodology used by software “shops,” and
industry.

7. In our projects: before we do anything we have to
investigate or “Do Our Homework” We have to know
what is needed in order to make our projects as
flawless as possible.
We should also list down the specific requirements
that must be met by the project.
Research in the internet for more information of the
project and the do’s and don’ts of the methods.
Looking for the materials suited for the project. Ex.
Our Science MP Boat were we had to find ECO
Friendly material.

9. The next step after investigating is making the master
plan. The plan that would save time and get you an A+
in short work more efficiently.
Next we have to evaluate the plan if it really is a good
plan but watch out! Never look for the perfect plan as
it would conceive a lot of time and it will defeat the
fact that we are actually trying to work efficiently.
Never forget to make a plan B as we all know we would
fail anytime soon. (this will help you keep going on
even though everything is not according to the plan)
Just like our Science video were we needed to plan
scripts and find the best camera around.

11. This is the most important steps of all. Without this step
there is no project and this steps takes most of the time.
We always have to remember that in order to work
flawlessly we have to go according to the plan the we have
just made earlier.
We have to make the project with an appropriate quality.
It’s time to utilize the things we need and what we have
without really spending a lot. Remember we are just
students
Well in all of our projects we needed to utilize the things
we had like for example the English, SS and Computer inter
subject video we utilize the Imovie in the MACLAB.

13. The last step is the evaluate the work we have just
made. It’s really important because any mistakes could
have been made and we have might not known it.
Find every solutions on how to make the product
better and an A+ material.
Evaluate the success of your work, pretend you are the
teacher and give yourself a grade. Look through the
GRASP paper and check if it’s all perfect in short give
the finishing touches.
Just like the CLE Info graph we made, We looked at the
info graph for hours to spell check and to check if the
pictures were legit and had good quality when
processed
