verify the stock certificates via phone call from the Transfer agent, & then we do process Direct registration
system.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY
• A Member of pilot Custody Process communicating through phone /E-mail with transfer agents to check
for validity / authenticity / negotiability of stock, bond and other asset certificates
• SOP’s & Process Map created for all the process in Custody
• Performing the role of Senior Associate with the team of 05 members
• Being as an Effective Trainer in the Custody team
• Handling Team meeting and Error discussions with the Team associates on a daily basis.
• Configuring SIC Sheet on a daily basis
• Allocating calls to everyone on a daily basis
• Need to verify Physical stock certificate of the client via phone call to the Transfer agent
2. • Getting status of certificates sent to them for processing corporate actions, Re-Organizations. Reporting
status on excel and communication through e-mail within the BNY Mellon group.
• Mandatory Re-org (Corporate Action) liaising with the transfer agents to check if the certificate has been
exchanged, Post Exchange after reverse split, stock split, legend etc.
• Trained in processing Direct Registration System & Account transfers
• Direct Registration System (DRS) this enables investors to hold their assets on the books and records of
their transfer agent in electronic book-entry form.
• Re-Indexing to make sure the various imaged documents are put into correct Customer accounts after
verifying certificate and other details on PCAS and Netx 360.
• Researching and updating correct Transfer agent information for different issuers of certificates (across all
asset classes) using Internet access.
• Completed Yellow belt certification recently
• Handling both incoming & outgoing calls to verify stock certificate
• Received Appreciation from the Client regarding Process Improvement ideas
• Received Appreciation from the client for completing the work in advance
