2. Today’s Objectives...
• We will review and discuss comparing
decimals from yesterday’s homework -
page 88 and page 70.
• We will begin to practice and discuss
adding decimals.

3. Comparing Decimals
• Use a decimal number line to help you
put these decimals in order from least
to greatest:
0.2, 0.7, 0.4, 0.9
• Now, put these decimals in order from
least to greatest:
0.3, 0.1, 0.01, 0.5, 0.6

5. Human Decimal Sort
• Arrange yourselves in order from least to
greatest.
• Then, find someone a partner who has a
number that is greater than your number (or,
someone whose number is less than yours)
• Now, switch cards with your partner.
• Let’s try lining up again, but this time from
greatest to least.

6. HW Review: pages 88 and 70
• Page 88
– let’s go around the room to share our
answers.
– you can ‘pass’ if you don’t want to share
your answer.
• Page 70
– around the room answer sharing.
