Non-invasive neonatal jaundice screening tool

1. The document describes a project to develop a non-invasive tool for screening neonatal jaundice using reflectance spectroscopy. 2. Light would be shone on the skin and the reflected spectrum analyzed to determine bilirubin levels, indicating jaundice. 3. A computational model and experimental analysis using blood samples would be conducted and compared to establish a relationship between bilirubin concentration and spectral reflectance for screening jaundice.
