Rahul Shah, Head of BIM, Lend Lease Europe provides an introduction to BIM and an overview of Level 2 BIM and UK BIM standards. Rahul has been using and implementing computer aided design (CAD) and BIM technologies in the architecture, engineering and construction industry for more than fourteen years in various roles. He has ‘BIM managed’ a variety of projects from small to large-scale and led efforts to migrate practices from 2D CAD to 3D BIM-based project delivery. Besides that he has done all the work you would expect of a Revit addict! In other words he has properly experienced BIM implementation and management first hand.
