Unequal Error Protection using LDPC Codes NIT Calicut, December 2014 - May 2015
Devised a system for parity check and error correction of data (Image and audio files) bits using SPIHT and EZW encoding
schemes. The improvement in performance of UEP scheme over conventional Equal Error Protection (EEP) scheme is validated
through simulation analysis, and results were presented successfully.
GSM Based Fire Alarm Security System NIT Calicut, January 2014 - April 2014
Constructed a fire detection and alarming system comprising of modules to detect smoke, gas, temperature variations, and IR, that
alerts and sends the location of the vicinity to the nearest fire station, further implemented using GPS and GSM modules.
Laptop Controlled Wireless Speaker System NIT Calicut, September 2013 - November 2013
Designed a volume controller, using LABVIEW software on laptop and RF Module system on receiver side, acting as a remote.
