Omnipoint’s NY-MTA deployment GSM 1900 mobile network. Responsibilities include
collecting and evaluating tech. data from multiple sources, interfacing with vendors, site

structural engineers, a site acquisition rep. and an electrical contractor. This position
required working with other RF and network design teams and mgmt. at Omnipoint.
This position requires a familiarity with frequency planning, radio/telephone traffic
eng., zoning testimony, radio telephony, propagation analysis and testing, as well as FCC
and FAA req’ts. Activities include radio network design, propagation analysis and
testing, site evaluation and selection, participation in design meetings.
