• Model
– The Data and Business Logic
• View
– The presentation, UI logic
• Controller
– Handles application interaction and presents the
View with the correct Model to the user

6. Advantages of MVC over WebForms
• Separation of concerns
• Enables Test Driven Development
• Much better Control over things
– HTML outputted can be controlled completely

7. What happens to WebForms
• WebForms is RAD
• A lot of builtin controls
• Avoids the learning curve if current team is
familiar with WebForms than MVC
