2. Sam smith
Class
In all of Sam Smith’s MV his class is represented positively to
be high or middle class.
This representation is created from his costume and settings
in his MV’s.
From the screen shots he wears, suits, tuxedos, expensive
brand clothing and shirts.
Secondly his body language/posture in his MV creates this
representation.
Most of his settings are locations are exotic such as the
location in ‘Writing is on the Wall’.
3. Sam smith
class
Some people could fine this offensive because not
everyone can afford clothing like he does, people
could get jealous and annoyed.
It could create the impression that to be a Sam
Smith fan you need to be middle or high class.
Its not stereotypically for an artist in the pop
genre is always have a representation of a high
class or middle class.
Some pop artist vary in between their MV’s
depending on the video. But Sam Smith always
creates the representation of a high/middle class
due to his costume and setting.
