Η υλοποίηση της λύσης είναι απλή και απαιτεί, από πλευράς εξοπλισµού, ένα «έξυπνο» χρηµατοκιβώτιο (smart safe) εγκατεστηµένο στο χώρο του έµπορου, στο σηµείο συλλογής και πλέον κατάθεσης χαρτονοµισµάτων. Το «έξυπνο» χρηµατοκιβώτιο διασυνδέεται ηλεκτρονικά µε το αρµόδιο τµήµα της συνεργαζόµενης τράπεζας. Τα «έξυπνα» χρηµατοκιβώτια αναγνωρίζουν, ελέγχουν και στη συνέχεια αποθηκεύουν τα χαρτονοµίσµατα, ενώ ταυτόχρονα ενηµερώνουν σχετικά την τράπεζα, η οποία φροντίζει για την αποσυµφόρηση τους σε µεταγενέστερο χρόνο.
