GCSE: 7 A*, 5 A grades at Standish Community High School, 1997-2002Experience<br />September 2009-Present – The Research Partnership: Research Executive at <br />I acted as the main point of contact during qualitative and quantitative fieldwork, co-ordinating agencies, freelancers, problem solving and conducting interviews.<br />In qualitative studies tasks include analysis of interviews, collecting quotes for fieldwork and gathering feedback at the proposal stage, data entry, simultaneous analysis, overseeing translation checks, slide writing, aiding the team at central locations and moderating face to face interviews.<br />In quantitative studies, managing online FW agencies and DP houses, writing tabspecs, code frames, table checking and charting. <br />This role has helped expand my understanding of the market research process, improved my computing proficiency and further strengthened my ability to work well with a variety of people with a busy workload.<br />February 2009-May 2009- Travelling Australasia and South East Asia<br />This was an enjoyable experience but also personally challenging with the chance to experience new cultures and beliefs being very rewarding.<br />September 2003-September 2010 - Pizza Hut UK ltd: Support Manager<br />All day to day tasks in running a busy restaurant including dealing with customer complaints effectively, labour issues, cost of sales targets and employees concerns.<br />Secondary roles include training and coaching, staff recognition and incentives, marketing and advertising.<br />Managing a team of up to 25 individuals has allowed me to become confident, flexible and hard working and develop skills in communication, organisation and motivating others.<br />Summer 2006- Holiday Home Camp: Camp Counsellor <br />A summer job working as a camp counsellor with at-risk children from economically stressed communities including inner city Chicago.<br />I worked with children from 7 to 16 years old being with a group of twelve 24 hours a day. I organised and planned all activities including teaching archery, swimming, as well as extra roles including maintenance, cleaning, gardening even building a volley ball court.<br />This role helped me further develop my confidence and organisational skills, proving that I am versatile in adapting to new situations and developing new skills.<br />Additional Information<br />Full Clean Driving licence<br />Proficient in Microsoft applications including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.<br />Interests / Hobbies<br />I am a PADI certified open water diver and I look forward to completing the advanced training in the future.<br />Whilst at university I rowed and played darts for St Cuthbert’s society and was a member of the biological society.<br />Cooking and music are two of my greatest passions.
