bid for the rupee 6,000-crore

companies preoccupied with the
reconstruction in their homeland,
at least 30 Indian companies
were unable to bid for the
project as they couldn't find a
partner from Japan to qualify for
the tender for civil works for the
Haryana-Gujarat leg of the
project for which construction will
start next March.

price appreciation of 66 per cent. While
property prices have risen about 21 per
cent in Greater Noida, the area isn't limited

Noida, hoping for significant returns
through the next few years, said experts.
However, real estate analysts make a
distinction between the two regions, in
terms of investment - while New Gurgaon is
referred to as a high investor market,
Greater Noida is termed a market for lowticket investors.

Akhilesh Yadav to speed up Delhi-Mumbai

The state government has begun work to build
an industrial township in 200 sq km in the NoidaDadri-Ghaziabad belt. Part of the proposed
Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor (DMIC), the
township will be spread from Bodaki in Greater
Noida to Chola in Bulandshahar. Thriving on
Railways’ proposed western freight corridor, the
township will attract an investment of Rs. 75,000
crore and create 12 lakh jobs.
