3. Stress & Team Building by Dr Anju Chawla 3
⇝Sometimes I wake up at 3 a.m., worried.
⇝Dozens of questions run through my mind.
⇝Am I getting into the right thing?
⇝Will my business keep going well?
⇝Will I be able to repay my loan?
⇝What if all my clients dry up, and nobody wants to work with me?
⇝What if I can’t feed myself?
⇝What to do better than the competitors?
⇝How to recruit the cost effective yet productive resource?
⇝What if I make one stupid mistake and everything I’ve built gets torn
down?
You?

Cause & Effect?
•CAN YOU IDENTIFY YOUR
STRESSOR?
•IS IT CONTROLLABLE?
5. Purposeful intention
Prioritize your MVP’s (Most Valuable
Priorities)
Predetermine your outcome
Protect your time
Be present in all that you do
Never start your week unless it is
written on paper first. Either you’re
running your days, or your days are
running you. The most successful
people live in the now. Zero in on what
you need to accomplish and do it.
Pointing to
your
problems
only does
not solve the
purpose.
DOES IT?

STAYING PRODUCTIVE WHILE STAYING
STRESS-FREE
6. Jack’s trick in staying productive while putting in such
long hours is to theme his days. Each weekday is
dedicated to a particular area of the business at both
companies. Here’s what his themed week looks like:
Monday: Management and running the company
Tuesday: Product
Wednesday: Marketing and communications, growth
Thursday: Developers and partnerships
Friday: Company culture and recruiting
Saturday I take off. I hike. And then Sunday is reflections,
feedback, strategy and getting ready for the rest of the
week.

12. No matter how hard you try, you can't do it all.
Greatest idea too needs execution which needs
team
Challenge is to get like minded people, but reward
is constructive criticism and many ideas
You cannot scale up without a team
As soon as you can afford to, hire your first
employee, even if you have to use every single
Rupee of net profit you should to do it. Hiring this
person will enable you to focus on growing the
business well beyond its current level.

Editor's Notes
Put a frog in boiling water, he will hop out. But if you a frog in tepid water and gradually increase the temperature, in his bid of indecisiveness he will die inside the pot!! He did not realise the importance of responding to the changing situation and hence took stress on his body and eventually died.
