REPORT ON WORLD HEALTH DAY 2023 CELEBRATION AT ELMCH
Theme : Health for All
In ELMCH, affiliated from Era university, Lucknow, nursing department organized national and
international WORLD HEALTH DAY 2023 celebrated like Introductions about world health
day , different ways of improving health like yoga, Exercise, Well balanced diet ,Hygiene,
Healthy life style, Enviourmental hygiene, determinants of health , Hand washing, Malaria
prevention, Healthy routines for adults, immunization etc celebrated by, Nursing students using
chart, poster, hand out/power point presentation by faculty to all the streams of nursing students
/speech about the WORLD HEALTH DAY 2023, and OPD in hospital premises by Nursing
faculty , GNM , BSC , ANM and on the theme.
World Health Day (WHD), held every year on 7 April, marks the anniversary of the founding of
the World Health Organization (WHO) in 1948 and each year focuses on a specific public health
concern. In addition to focusing on the journey to achieving Health For All, which is this year's
theme, WHO will observe its 75th anniversary under the theme 75 years of improving public
health.
The goal of the world health day 2023, which will be observed with theme “health for all” is to
create awareness about healthy habits not only to keep away non communicable diseases but also
for positive effect on mental well being.
Importance of world health day is to bring global attention to a specific health issues that impacts
people world wide. It aim s to encourage governments organizations and individuals to take
action to improve global health and well being.
Health for all theme include the prevention of communicable diseases , non communicable ,
nutritional problem, adolescent health care , MCH care, oldage care etc.
