easy-to-use tabbing system
u Most catalogs included inserts or reply cards
u Data was pulled from Filemaker and flowed into
QuarkXpress via XData (I exported data, wrote all
the scripts, flowed and manipulated the data)
u Secured models, locations, and directed all photography

and one for 6-12. Combine stock photography with
studio book product shots to save cost. Stress the
durability of the product (product-focus).

Past new titles catalogs have used less color
and newsprint stock. This time we decided
to promote excitement with very active layouts
and bright colors on glossy, bright white stock
based on the theme of each genre.

Create “illboard” and banners for the Illinois State Fair.
U.S. Cellular was holding a texting event/promotion
on the fairgrounds which was next to the interstate.
They requested a “billboard” banner to be large
enough to be seen from the interstate and act as a
billboard, but also dress up the venue for the event,
which was next to a barn. The “banners” needed to WORK
be secured to the barn. Each banner was grommted u 10’ x 60’ banner adhering to U.S. Cellular brand standards
and secured with rope to the building. u 6’ x 12’ banners to promote the texting event
u 4’ x 40’ banner with U.S. Cellular slate brand color,
wavelengths and reversed logo
