The danger of haste in Romeo and Juliet A man whose writings still enchant the world some four
hundred years after they were originally written, William Shakespeare, wrote Romeo and Juliet

Since I have been watching Friends from the beginning I chose to write about their culture using
the next episode. In season 4 episode 19 "The One with all the Haste", Monica and Rachel are
trying to gain their apartment back from Joey and Chandler, Phoebe is pregnant with her brother
and his wife's baby, and Ross ask Emily (his short time girlfriend) to marry him. I find this show
appropriate for this assignment because the way the friends are divided. First off, the dominant

Wasting food is a bad habit that affects all of society and we continue to implicate ourselves in
the problem. Of the total of food loss that is going on about 40 percent is in the household. Overall a

Like many things, we just don't bother or we don't feel that we have the time. We aren't realizing

Testing Is A Waste Of Class Time
Does ISTEP plus benefit the students of 9th and 10th grade? Or is it just another test that we as a
whole have to waste time on? The expansion of ISTEP to the 9th and 10th grade is
inconsequential. It gives us more tests to anguish about, stressing everyone out including
classmates, teachers, parents, and ourselves. Spending 10 hours on testing is a waste of class time

Making new products from non recycled materials causes natural resources to deplete. (Castro et al
2009). Most of the recyclable items we use everyday are made from plastic, paper, glass or
aluminum.
While manufacturing papers we use wood pulp from trees, producing plastic requires the use of oil
as well as natural gas. We can say that making products from recycled materials means using fewer
natural resources, that means less trees will be cut and not as much oil will be used to produce
plastic. Research shows that 4% of U.S annual oil consumption goes into the manufacture of plastic,
but recycling can make a significant impact on oil use.
For example in 1997, the U.S recycled 13 million cars which conserved 32.5 billion pounds of ore.
Americans recycled about 33% of total municipal solid waste which is equivalent to saving almost
225 million barrels of oil (U.S EPA,2009).
Reducing pollution is another benefit in addition to conserving natural resources.
Every day, people produce millions of trash that are disposed in landfills which can cause water,
air and land pollution. By recycling, we can lessen the waste materials that are placed into landfills
and make the most out of these materials. If we don't recycle, more and more garbage will go to
landfills until they all get filled up. If that happens, where will the

A simple chore: "take out the trash". Take the trash bag full of junk, place it in the bin, and let it
sit till it's taken away. Now try to picture doing this with the junk in your brain, complicated huh?
Reality is, you could never fit all the trash you have ever owned into one trash bag. Our brain is
just the same, one trash bag will not fix the full garage of junk we have in our brain. The problem
we face as humans are how we compare taking out the literal trash and mental trash. That single
trash bag isn't all the trash we have stored in our minds. The first bag of trash is only the light
layer upon layers underneath. One thing that strikes my brain while visualizing trash being taken
out is, we wait until it's taken away! We are waiting for someone else to pick up our own garbage
and take it. It takes years and hard work to empty your trash on a daily basis. In my personal
experience, taking out the trash is no easy task. Through the past 3 months of health scares and
injuries, I have come to realize that I was never emptying my trash, but I was only moving it to
the back of my brain. My family and I went out to New Mexico to hopefully heal what was broken
inside. Dr. Hao said something that I refused to believe at that point in time because at sixteen I
