More than Just Lines on a Map: Best Practices for U.S Bike Routes
Analysis of an opening sequence
1.
2. Technology used for our opening
sequence
• Camera (Panasonic SDR-S50)
• Tri-pod
• IMovie
• YouTube
• Blogger
• Apple Mac (computer)
• Sound effects
Here is Conor and I setting up at the river side,
location. We both making sure the angle was
correct and even the height.
3. Camera (Panasonic SDR-S50)
The Camera we used a very good, it was easy and very clear on how to use
it as it was Conor’s own camera. He taught Ryan and I how to use it.
Main features the camera had : Camera zoom went up to 78X - this
helped with shots that were far away and we couldn’t get close too.
The microphone wasn't actually needed when filming, only when she was
screaming as we was going to mute everything before but in the end we
ended up using all the sound we filmed, such as the front door, walking in
the rooms, chucking the newspaper down and going up the stairs and
many more.
The worm eyed shot underneath the bed was really hard to shoot and by
using this camera and leaning it against a book and Conor being under the
bed holding it and zooming it, it made the film look 100% better.
4. We used the computers at school which allowed us to
access the programme iMovie to put our opening
sequence together.
The iMovie helped us a lot with changing the colour of
the shots, by slowing everything down using slow
motion and by even quieting the screaming down
when we played the music on top.
iMovie allowed us to put a good opening sequence
together, by using special effects this would bump our
grade up more.
The only bad thing was we lost our work, but we soon
recovered it.
5. YouTube
• Using YouTube to put our final version of the
opening sequence to allow people to see what
hard work we put into the video.
• Also using this site allowed us to see some
ideas, such as certain songs for our opening
sequence.
6. Blogger
• By keeping up to date with all our blogging we
used 'blogger' to keep all our
schedules, updates on anything this really
helped our group keep an eye on what was
going on and what our schedule was. We
could access blogger from any computer so it
wasn't limited at all.
