This lab has three goals: 1) to standardize data by converting it to z-scores using the mean and standard deviation, 2) to compute probabilities using the standard normal distribution table, and 3) to find data values given probabilities. The student will use a variable called Heightininches from Lab 3 with a sample mean of 48.38 and standard deviation of 3.5. The student will locate z-scores for the minimum and maximum values of this data on the standard normal distribution graph and shade the corresponding areas to find the probabilities.
