How did you use media
technologies in the
construction and research,
planning and evaluation stages?

As you could see on the
previous slide I used Google
Images. I used this when
researching different digipaks
and posters because I wanted
to find out the conventions of
them so I would be able to use
them on my own products.
The reason why I used
Google Images is because
it is simple and you get a
variety of different
pictures and options laid
out in front of you.

The reason I used YouTube to
search for and post videos
onto my blog when doing
my deconstruction tasks
was because it was a
convenient source because
it had a variety of “indie
rock” genre music videos
therefore I didnt have to
look through the internet
for hours searching.
Another reason why I chose to use YouTube was because when the link is posted
onto my Wordpress website it posts the video so it is easy for the viewer of the site
to see what it is exactly what I’m talking about..

 We used YouTube initially to upload our
preliminary task to familiarise ourselves with
uploading videos onto it as we planned to upload
our future completed task onto there too.
 We also used iMovie to edit this task, again, to
familiarise ourselves with this platform. This is so
we knew what we were doing when it came to
our completed task. Also we learned how to add
text and got to discover different shot types.

• This is a screenshot of the SlideShare embedded into my blog.
It gives the option to go through the PowerPoint simply, to
enlarge it and to share it with friends. This was a nice and easy
way for people on my blog to go through our shot-lists,
costume and prop lists etc.
