After music is over: A very good morning to all of you. It’s a real pleasure being here today and I would like to extend my gratitude to SHRI and its team. Its my first visit to Singapore and what a magnificent city. It reaffirms my belief as to what human capital can accomplish. Let me take you through how GENEX evolved. When I was asked by SHRI to send my topic and synopsis, I was deliberating on which topic to present upon. I had discussed of my presentation in Singapore with my son. Who is 6 years old. Last Saturday, he just approached me and said Zhao Chen Hao. (Believe me I had to do a lot of practice to pronounce that…). I just looked at him with a blank expression. He replied Dad you’re travelling to Singapore for a presentation, so I just searched for you how to greet people during the conference. During this, a though struck me and I realized that while I was busy focusing on my presentation he was thinking one step ahead. To assist me in overcoming cultural divide. And that’s where I realized that this is the future workforce. The next generation of talent which we’ll be facing unprepared. That’s how GENEX was born.
