• Create a folder in your “Documents”
• Name it - your name
• Do a google search for an image
• Whilesaving, create a new folder within your original folder,
naming it “images”
• Save the image to your new images folder
• Discuss creating folders w/in folders - blue highlight

• Open up “Word” - the application
• Create a document of your choosing
• Save the document to the desktop
• Do some simple drag & drop exercises
• Open your documents folder, and drag the word document from the desktop to your folder (your
name)
• Next, create a subfolder to “your name” and call it “Word Documents”
• Open both the documents folder (your name), and the new Word Docs folder
• Drag and drop your word document and see what happens
