the whole album. This was a way how record companies were able

choice of buying a single song of the album or the whole album.
This has impacted on the music industry because their sales would
drop if one song was more downloaded than the other. iTunes have
led to other problems such as piracy. As it stands to buy a song
from iTunes is £0.69 to buy an album it’s around about £7.99 once
you have brought the album you are able to share it amongst other
people via the internet so record companies are loosing money
because people aren’t buying the songs. Also because mostly every
household has access to the internet and they want an easier way
to purchase music people are now downloading music rather than
going out and buying the hard, more expensive copy of the album
or song.
