2. WhatisWarming-up? Warming up is a set of sequencial and progressiveexercises, involvingallthemuscles and jointswiththegoal of preparingthebodyforexercise, so thebody can performadequately and avoidinjury.

Benefits of the warm up: If you do a good warm up, you can get: 1) Protection against injuries2) Better performance And also: -You increase your body temperature. -Your joints move more efficiently -Oxygen in blood travels faster. -Your muscles extend more and are more elastic -Muscles move faster and with more strength -You react faster
4. A WARM – UP HAS 2 PARTS: GENERAL - Physical activities with your main muscles SPECIFIC - Exercises directly related to the next activity that we will do. For example, in a basketball warm-up we practice bouncing, shooting, different movements, games, drills…
5. WARM UP GENERAL Starting up: jogging, walking, soft running, … etc. Joint movements: Free pendulum like motion movements and some circles around your joints Streching of your main groups (upper limbs, lower limbs and trunk)
