This document summarizes a student project to design a highly secured automatic door control and power control system. The system uses a PIC microcontroller to control components like a PIR sensor for motion detection, door sensors, call buttons, relays for light/fan control, and a GSM modem for communication. It allows for automated and remote control of doors and electric appliances with features like gas leakage detection for security. The project aims to provide low-cost security and automation for homes and offices with benefits like remote access and power savings. Future work may include expanding the gas detection and power control capabilities.

2. Introduction
 Now a days there is a need of highly secured
and automated systems for security purpose
the problems being, robbery and other
security issues which are increasing day by
day, proving to be an increasing threat for
human life.
 In residential areas even after providing
facilities such as security guard, there seems
to be no solution to these problems.
 To overcome the mentioned problems, we
decided to design low cost security system
cum energy saving device.

operation for a door lock control system
based on a near field communication of a
smartphone [1].

Based on the Image Processing Technology

5. Working
 PIC Microcontroller is controlling the entire system
 PIR sensor is used to detect the human motion in
restricted areas.
 Door sensor logic is used to monitor the door status close
or open, when it is open it will give logic high signal.
 Call Button is used to send the voice call to the concern
person through this the visitor can communicate with the
authorized person.
 Relays are used to switch light or fan on-off through SMS.
 GSM modem is used to communicate between PIC
microcontroller and user.
 LCD is used to monitor the variable parameters.
 Keyboard is used to set (input) the user set value.

 The project is mainly focus on security
and automation with low cost.
 We hope that our project gives security
and automation for home, flats etc.
