1. View from the Shard
Have you wondered what London looks like from above?? Well wonder no more now you can
see yourself!! The View from the shard is the premium visitor attraction at the top of Western
Europe’s tallest building and London’s newest landmark, The Shard.
Designed by Master Architect Renzo Piano, the shard redefines London’s Skyline and has become
a dynamic symbol of London. At a height of up to 800ft or 244m. The View from the shard offers
spectacular views over London for up to 40 miles. Twice as high as any other vintage point in the
city. It is the only place where visitors can see entire city at once.
First Lift- 33rd Floor
You can travel up to 33rd floor in this first lift and the journey is Very quick you will enjoying the
video show on the Celling of the lift which includes the roof of Great London monuments like St
Paul’s Cathedral.
2. Second Lift -69th Floor
The next lift takes you straight to floor 69 and the inside Viewing Gallery, as you wonder into the
floor you draw in breath as the view are stunning even on an overcast. Lift travels at 6mts per
second. At 69th viewing floor digital telescopes are provided all around from which you can look
out and zoom in and on your favorite view or place of interest and it is free to use. You can also
change the mode so you can view the city in night or sunset and can do many changes but we
need wait for someone else to finish and the timer is on to ensure that it is not hogged by any
one person.
Open air View- 72nd Floor
The Stairs to the outside viewing platform on floor 72 at 244.3 meters is the fabulous view from
the shard where we got up here the sun was starting to come out and some blue sky invisible.
This makes the experience even more beautiful as you feel the cool breeze and can look up and
see the sky truly stunning!
Honestly night time is best time to visit, even with the clouds above the city lights come alive and
a mesmerizing view appears. There’s something fascinating about seeing the city at night. From
April 2016 enjoy a glass of bubbly at London's highest champagne experience. Available daily
from midday until 30 minutes before closing. Soft drinks also available. Champagne will only be
3. served to adults (18+). As well as this, there are two shopping boutiques at 69 floor where you
can pick up your souvenirs from your trip to London from the highest shop in the city!

Price: Pre-booked tickets cost £30.95 for adults or £24.95 for children. A limited number of tickets
are made available each day. Under-4s free but still need to be pre-booked and in possession of
a ticket. Tickets can be booked through The View from the Shard website.
Getting there:
If you think about it, it isn’t much more than a trip on London Eye, except your visit to the view
of Shard isn’t limited. If you are planning to visit the Shard hire a car from private transfer
company which safe and reliable transfer services. London Airport transfers provides its
executive car service to the Shard from all major airports of London.
