planes that fly but
have never worked
but have made air
balloons to lift it with
gases lighter than air
3. Gliders
• Gliders are not
airplanes but they
look and fly like them
they are big in flight
history. they don’t run
on motor but they
stay in the air for a
long time by wind. We
still use them today.

world war 2 and are

mostly jets for military
purposes as well and
can go faster than the
speed of sound.

Rockets are the one of the
fastest planes in the
universe but need help to lift
off. One of the best rockets
is the shuttle because it can
be used over and over again
now we have one more slide
to go through.
