i. Write at least three out of five phrases correctly.
ii. Write at least three simple sentences out of five under the teacher
guidance.

Date 6th May 2015 Class Year 2 Pintar Number of pupils 20 pupils Time 11.40 am – 12.40 pm (60 minutes) Theme World of Knowledge Topic Unit 9: When I Grow Up Focused Skills Writing Integrated skills Reading and listening Level Intermediate Content Standard 3.1 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will be able to write using appropriate language, form and style for a range purposes. Learning Standard 3.2.2 Able to write simple sentences with guidance Learning Outcomes At the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to: i. Write at least three out of five phrases correctly. ii. Write at least three simple sentences out of five under the teacher guidance. Educational Emphasis Multiple intelligences, Thinking Skills Language Items Library, classroom, guard post, office, canteen. Previous Knowledge The pupils were known all the occupations through watching television and reading books. Teaching Aids Picture cards, word cards, text book, exercise book.
  • 2. STAGES CONTENT TEACHING AND LEARNING STRATEGIES REMARKS (RATIONALE, TEACHING RESOURCES) Set Induction (± 5 minutes) Pictures: Library Classroom Guard post Classroom Canteen 1. The teacher shows the picture of school environment. 2. The teacher state the workplace for each staff in school. 3. The teacher show the pictures. 4. The pupils answer the questions loudly. 1. To prepare the pupils for the lesson. 2. To encourage pupil to think and give their answer. Resources: Picture cards Multiple Intelligences: Verbal-linguistic Pre- writing ( ±10 minutes) Example text: The headmaster is in the office. 1. The teacher shows the picture of school environment. 2. The teacher read the simple sentence loudly follow by the pupils. 3. The teacher ask pupils to fill in the blank with suitable answer. 4. The pupils will respond to the text using other words by referring to the pictures. 1. Make the pupils understand about the topic 2. Give a clear overview about the topic.
