Steps Of The Scientific Method: Identify the topic : Identify the topic and determine a problem, question or suggestion you want to work on developing a solution or an answer to it. Search the background: Start reviewing the topic background and work on the literature review and where the our knowledge reached in it. Form the topic in scientific way: Work on constructing a hypothesis (proposition) to it and find the resources related to it. Identify the method required to process with the topic: which mean start to collect the data resulted from testing your hypothesis ( mainly by experiments ) Evaluating : Get the results and data and start analyzing them to produce information and evaluate your outcomes . The conclusion : Process your result in the shape of scientific knowledge. Document your resources and steps (referencing) . ---------------- The key qualities of the scientific process in my opinion are the precise observation of the phenomena (in the lab or in a field) , formulating the proposal (hypothesis), the testing methods of the hypothesis (the experiments and the formulation of the conclusion. …………….. The key qualities of scientific knowledge is the fact that it is based on the empirical evidences and formed with appropriate scientific method. It is solid, yet open to changes and improvements. Objective but open to creativeness.
