Simple Present Tense This tense is used for expressing habits or routine activities. In the Affirmative form, we use the verb as it is, for example I work They work, but for the 3º person singular, (he-she-it) we add an “s”. he works, she works In the Interrogative and negative form, we use the auxiliary do. In the 3º person singular we use does.
