to truly LISTEN and LEARN
Too often we seek how to FIT Jesus into life
rather than living from a life CENTERED on
Jesus.
Many Christians offer Jesus what they are
WILLING to give, but never bother asking
what it is that He WANTS

5. We cannot become LIKE
Jesus apart from time
SPENT with Jesus.
Sitting at Jesus’ feet reflects a humility that
says I NEED and have a DESIRE to learn.
Whatever we feed our minds plays a role in
the person we are BECOMING

6. Sitting at Jesus’ feet offers
Him our UNDIVIDED
ATTENTION
The greatest challenge for most of us in the
process of discipleship are the GOOD things
that crowd out BETTER things.

7. Sitting at Jesus’ feet is a
CHOICE
Discipleship is INTENTIONALLY choosing to
learn from Jesus in the midst of everything
else that is clamoring for our attention.
