ITSC MONTLY NEWS LETTER JANUARY AND FEBRUARY 2015.
SPORTS DAY FOR IOP STAFF
IOP staff meets every week Thursday in the playing field; this is to encourage everyone to
exercise. Through that we encourage the girls and boys to be active also in doing sports
because we show them an example and they can observe what we do. We arranged for a game
for those who are married vs. the Single once it has been our tradition now and its real funny
watching this game.

TRAINING THE SMALL BOYS
Boys from different schools around our area were training at IOP Playing field. These kids
are always encouraged to attend the training sessions; some of them have been failing to come
because of their school timetable. When all teams have to attended the training small boys use
the small pitch which is used for the netball game, a game for girls.

UNDER 17 TRAINING.
U-17 team training. There was training at IOP-Playing grounds and the U-17 team had their
training that day. After training there was a match from the neighbor village teams. This
playground is used by different people around our community.

A MATCH BETWEEN THE NEIGHBOURING TEAMS.
Football match between Ilula City FC and Kimamba FC. The team leader from these villages
asked to use our playing field and we accepted. The match was played at 4.00 pm evening and
they all ended up drawing. The match ended up with the scores 1 goal each team.

U-12 TRAINING.
There was the U-12 team training session at IOP- Center, we have other players added to the
team. They have asked to join and 14 new players have joined the team so far and they are
doing well with the practice.

LORDS HILL STUDENTS MATCH.
The Lords High School had a match among themselves, TYCS vs UKWATA. These are two
religious groups, UKWATA- the combination of Christian denominations against Roman
Catholics. The match was played from 4.30 pm and TYCS worn by three goals while
UKWATA scored one goal. The Lords Hill High School was preparing for a game with St.
James Secondary School who were about to visit their school. ITSC has 8 registered players
from The Lords High School.

UNDER 12 TRAINING.
The practice was done at IOP-Playgrounds as usual. The team had a normal practice at IOP,
and the two teams attended the practice, U-17 and U-12 boys. The U-17 boys had
preparations with the football game between themselves and a team from a neighboring
village named as Tomato FC.

FOOTBALL MATCH BETWEEN TOMATO FC AND ITSC.
The game was played at our playing field and the game was between ITSC and Tomato FC.
The match started at 04.15 pm and ended at late evening. Until the end of first half ITSC was
leading by 2-0 and the match ended with ITSC scoring 3goals while Tomato scored no go

PRACTISE WITHOUT A BALL.
Practice without a ball. This day was a practice without using a ball the boys used the training
cones and jogging around the pitch. These exercises help the players to build strength and
agility. Both teams joined together and the practice was so nice, players are advised to
practice without a ball sometimes.

MATCH BETWEEN IOP STAFF AND LORDS HILL STUDENTS.
There was a match between the IOP Staff and the students from Lords Hill together with
students from Norway. Students mixed up those from the Lords Hill and those from Norway
and IOP Staff including teachers from Norway and Lords Hill also mixed up. The IOP Staff
lost a game by 6-1.

FRIENDLY MATCH BETWEEN LORDS HILL vs. ST JAMES SCHOOL.
There was a match between The Lords Hill School vs. St James Secondary school. In
November last year our school visited St James it was their turn now. Last game The Lords
lost by 3-0 in Football but this time it was a draw. They both scored one goal each in a
football game but the girls (From the Lords became champions).

MATCH BETWEEN ITSC vs. MABANDANI.
ITSC had a match with Mabandani FC. This is a nice team in our area and it has always been
participating in big tournaments. Its going to participate in IOPADEN 2015 too. Our team had
a draw results with this team and we are planning to have another game with them before
IOPADEN. This will be the preparation for IOPADEN because our team will also take part
this year.
