website with the intention to become more
visible in the searches.

Trend #1:Content Marketing is King
Content marketing is still the element with the
most impact in search visibility. But that doesn’t
mean you should focus only on content and avoid
the technical aspects of SEO.
You need to find a balance between the two:
implement a strong content marketing strategy
alongside with the best SEO techniques and
success will stay with you in 2015.

Trend #2:Focus on Mobile
The mobile traffic is on the rise, more and more
users are consuming web content via mobile
devices (phones, tablets, phablets and so on).
Experts say that Mobile Usability will be for sure an
official ranking factor in 2015, meaning that the
websites that offer a better experience for the
mobile users will rank better in the search results.
If your website is not “mobile-friendly” yet, you
need to fix this as soon as possible!

Trend #3: Citations and brand mentions trend to continue in 2015
There is something called “implied links”, or as Google calls it a citation or brand mention.
This is when a third party website mentions your brand or product without linking back to your
website.
This was introduced by Google in order to avoid manipulation for the purpose of achieving
higher search rankings and will continue to be important in the Google’s algorithms in 2015.

Trend #4:Strong Social Presence
Social Media will bear even more value when
it comes to search ranking. Especially the
strongest social platforms: Twitter and
Facebook.
Even though a controversial topic, it is
believed that Google uses social signals like
comments, mentions, followers, reposts or
retweets in their ranking algorithms.

Trend #5: Humanize your brand
Make your brand more human. Build an online conversation between your brand and your
customer. Don’t just broadcast your content.
Give your brand a voice and start engaging with your audience, answer their questions, respond
to their comments.
Being authentic and genuine will lead to more trust and strong relationships with your
customers. Don’t be afraid to build an emotional relationship with your audience!

Trend #6: Beware of negative SEO!
Maybe it didn’t happen to you, but many businesses
were attacked by their competition with negative
SEO. Their competitors will associate their website
with spam to negatively impact their rankings and
steal their customers.
It’s hard to protect from this, especially when it
can take a while before you realize what
happened.
What you can do is constantly monitor your links so
you can spot a strange jump in links increase
immediately and taking action as soon as you can.

From now on, many businesses will integrate social media, SEO and content marketing into
one fluent working environment.
They will no longer be divided, since they are all used for the same purpose. SEO experts

expertise will cover content marketing and marketing strategies, also social media
marketing.
SEO is evolving as a discipline into something much grander.

Sites will need to step it up in the term of multimedia. Expect to see more videos, images
