If a student has 3 or more unexcused absences within a four week period, the district MAY file a complaint
- The federal Gun-Free Schools Act of 1994 requires a one-year expulsion for students who come to school with guns. Exceptions – if student lawfully possessed a gun with a permit and had it stored in a locked vehnicl
