THE RIGHT INFORMATION
―I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning those who have
fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. ‖
(1 Thessalonians 4:13)
O ur flight had been airborne about 15 minutes when the pilot announced that the
aircraft had a serious problem the crew was trying to analyze. A few minutes later,
he announced that it was a vibration and that we would have to return to the airport. Then
the flight attendants made a series of step-by-step announcements explaining what was
going on and what would happen once we were on the ground. In an event that could have
been terrifying, the fears of the passengers were relieved because we were given the right
information.
In the first century, a group of believers in Thessalonica were afraid that their believing
loved ones who had died were gone forever and would miss out on the second coming of
Christ. For that reason, Paul wrote, “I do not want you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning
those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope” (1 Thess.

still have hope of a coming reunion with those who were in Christ.

families, and my life be established … and I pray that the enemy’s plans and
purposes be destroyed.‖

healing power of Jesus Christ in their lives. Many people are suffering – spiritually,
emotionally, and physically – let us stand before our Mighty God today on their
behalf!

3. Healthy Diet
Eat healthy and you will live a healthy life and healthy eating habits is a way to long
and active life. Diet and nutrition is about feeling good when you eat and keeping yourself
healthy and not strict dieting, trying to stay thin or depriving yourself of the foods you love.
Healthy diet begins with eat smartly. Concepts and ideas of what is a healthy diet
vary. It is not just what you eat, but how you eat. It is essential to choose the types of
foods that improve your health and avoid the types of foods that raise your risk for
diseases. It is also vital to have quality food that will bring no harm to your body. Paying
attention to what you eat and choosing foods that are both nutritious and hygienic helps
you to achieve an overall healthy diet.

3. Making Diet Healthy
The body needs vital nutrients for its varied functions.
Food provides the needed nutrients to the body. Water is
another important constituent of the food required for every
metabolic reaction.
A deficit in these essential nutrients over time results in
loss of activity or reduction in some function and may modify
regulation, which can lead to deficiency diseases.
In addition, lack of nutrients could promote chronic age
related diseases, like diabetes, osteoporosis, stroke, heart
problems and cancer. Therefore, a nutritious diet is important
in the prevention and cure of various diseases.
What constitutes a healthy diet?
No single food provides all of the essential nutrients in
the right proportions, so a healthy diet should comprise a
wide variety of foods eaten in moderation. Usually the
percentage of our energy intake derived from different
energy giving nutrients is considered.
So a healthy diet should comprise a wide variety of
foods eaten in moderation. Fifty percent of the energy we
need should come from the carbohydrates in the food
whereas 30–35% should come from fats and 15–20%
should be provided by protein.
A healthy and adequate diet, which is a combination of various
essential nutrients in the proper proportion, will help you meet your
body’s nutrient and energy requirements and provide adequate
health-promoting phytochemicals.
Eating a well-balanced diet on a regular basis and staying at your
ideal weight are critical factors in maintaining your emotional and
physical well-being and thus, help to prevent diseases such as
diabetes, cancer and Cardiovascular disease.
Stay fit, keep praying. And be blessed in our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
