working in the communities, Newsome was on her way to
find GROVE PARK’S Golf Course (a Black Golf Course in
Jackson, Mississippi) that was on the Local News to be
closed when she came across the school (CM&I College)
that she had not seen in years since leaving home.
Newsome decided to stop just to visit and see what it was
looking like. It was during this visit, that it was brought
to her attention of the plans to CLOSE CM&I College.
Upon doing further inquiries, it appears from reports the
Closing was NOT because of FINANCES, but claims of
REMODELING and opening it back up again in the Fall of
2017 as – GUESS WHAT – an ALTERNATIVE School for

The Church Of Christ Holiness USA at one time (during
Newsome’s childhood) had MASSIVE turnouts and/or
Membership. However, it appears that this Denomination
has taken a DRASTIC hit in its DECLINE of Membership

Denomination) popping up like wildfires across the
Country. A Church Denomination that now appears to
have moved up under the LEADERSHIP of the United
