they have developed ways to protect
themselves. Some insects have a coat or an
armor, a tough outer covering that protects
their bodies. Some have needle-like hairs,
which has irritating chemicals in the tip.
Others have giant jaws, stings and secretes
bad odors in the air.
7. Plants are vital in our lives. Man and other
forms of animals can’t live without it. The
food that we eat, the medicine that we take,
the books and pencils we use in school
comes from the plants. They also give oxygen
that we need in order to breathe.

The types are classified into two kinds. The first group are plants
without seeds. Examples of these are algae, liverworts, mosses and
