According to “The American School Counsellors’
Association”: “A comprehensive school counselling program is
developmental and systematic in nature, sequential, clearly
defined, and accountable. It is jointly founded upon
developmental psychology, educational philosophy, and
counseling methodology (ASCA, 1994).
