My influences are other films within the British film industry such as Shank and
Kidulthood. This is due to the fact that they have been able to successfully
capture British teenage youth culture whilst holding a level a realism which made
it both truthful and relatable. I am inspired to make a film that captures both the
consequences and decisions that are made on impulse by many teenagers in this
day and age.
I decided to reflect my own, and other individuals personal experiences in this film to
portray different perspectives on the same subject matter. Within my group we
decided to make our target audience aged 15-25 as the themes and setting of
this film aims to reflect their reality.
