Communicative goal: Talking about shops around the town, talking about
things in a shop and talking about amounts.

Vocabulary focus: Different shops (The toy shop- the pet shop- the sports
shop- the newsagent’s- the supermarket- the clothes shop), things in a shop
(Dress- mouse- pizza- rabbit- book- cheese- ruler- jacket- dog- t- shirt),
numbers 1-20.

Teacher will bring to the class letters and she will stick the first letters of
each shop, students will come to the board and they will stick the missing
letters. The shops will be:

The pet shop
The sports shop
The supermarket

Comprehension and clarification: 15’
Teacher will stick different objects on the blackboard. Above them she
will stick the name of each object and she will ask students to identify
the object.
Teacher: Look! What’s this?
Students: Dress
Teacher: Yes! Very good! It’s a dress. Repeat it with me. It’s a dress.
