  Adventure: The Wolf Among Us. Imagine
 yourselves in that board room, locked in by
 Telltale Games and they won’t let you out
 until you have at least the beginning or a
 synopsis of the opening level.
Let’s start by asking ourselves…

       Why?
To continue we must know our main

What are their motivations?
    Who are they?
    What do they do?
    Where do they come from?
    When does this story take place?
    Why are they there?
Fable Backstory
 Fables began as a comic      Our main character is

while moving from panels

The Main Mystery

  normal everyday
  people committing
  the crimes. Is this
  true or is someone
  else pulling the
  strings? As Sheriff
  Bigby, you must
  solve this case
  without causing
  alarm within the
  Fabletown
  community.
Where to start?
 Should we research other “Point-and-
  Click” Adventure style games?
 Should we delve into both the classic
  fairy tales and these darker fairy tales
  that “Fables” is based upon?
 How can we show the beginnings of
  the game while “slipping-in” the
  player controls at the same time?
How do we engage the player?
