1. Appreciation is the recognition of a quality or the significance / importance of people and things.
2. It is an awareness of one’s aesthetic values, actions and expressions.
3. Appreciation is praising one for his/her actions, words, thoughts, value. For example: "Good Job!", "That is beautiful!", "I Appreciate your talent!"
4. Appreciation is expression of gratitude.
INTENT (The objective is to help each participant explore the topic for himself, individually and independently. Following are some of the objectives of the session.)

3. She asked them to list the names of all the students on a
sheet of paper and write the nicest thing they had to say
about each one of them.
Later, she compiled the lists the students had written and
wrote it on a separate sheet of paper ( for each student).
4. They were thrilled on reading what their
friends had to say about them.
