Introduction:
I (Vibhash Misra), who had been throughout first class and a rank holder, did PG (Physics -Electronics) from Agra
University and MBA (Marketing/HR) from Kanpur University in year 1998-2000.
Career as a professional:
I started my career with Dr Reddy’s Laboratories in year 2000 as a PSR in Kanpur and promoted to Area
Manager in three years, managing a team of five people. Where I worked for 5 years.Job profile was to manage
and make stockist and increase distribution and to achieve company’s targets laid down for Kanpur and suburb
areas.
To grow with boom in Insurance industry and having flair for cross functional work, I joined insurance industry
as Sales Manager (Grade-3) in ICICI Prudential in Sep-06, looking after 100 Unit Managers and 48 recruitment
Consultant. My work involved increasing market penetration & distribution reach by hiring individual &
metamorphosing these individuals into well trained professionals and insurance advisors.
Upon getting opportunity I moved to HDFC SL in March 2008 as Area Manager for UP in Business leader
vertical managing 12 CDM’s and 1200 RC’s. Here I was managing 6 major locations in UP where I single
handedly hired a team of 12 CDM’s set pace and made them up and running to achieve the business targets laid
down by the company.In HDFCSL I worked for 3.5 years.
To enhance my career I planned to join ICICI PRUDENTIAL at Varanasi as Area Manager- Distribution
Leader in year 2011 to increase my span of control and development. I planned various activities for lead
generation in varanasi and gave mass presentations. With the cooperation of my team we recruited 75 odd
distribution leaders. I have made my team qualify all the contests launched in my vertical & thus produced
superlative performance. My team had produced 3 crore+ revenue for the organization in 2012-13.
At present am working with GVK EMRI (108/102 Ambulance) as Regional Head OPERATIONS and taking care of
