-… annd we‘re back with Part 2 of the Disc Household of Instant City – a BaMC Challenge.. And after focusing on Daughter-
1… or Rose, as I nicknamed her at the end of the first part… this time, it’s Son-1’s turn… and as you can see, his Plantsim
heritage really shows through… he’s pretty much a clone of the Plantsim template… well, at least he has elf ears, weeeh…-

-… so this time, like in Daughter-1‘s case, I rolled an aspiration randomizer, annnd…. It‘s Science this time!-
‚*snif*… Daddy is so happy about his little childrenion…!‘
- I knew you’d like that Professor… also, Son-1’s randomly given turn-off is formalwear… well, he’s science, so a lab coat
might already be sufficient… his first turn-on is Mechanic… also works good for Robotics and other sciency stuff… and his
second is… zombies?? Wellll…. It works too, but it’s also kinda …. Oh well, he isn’t romance and a Plantsim, so finding a
partner isn’t important yet…-

-… in any case, now - it’s…-

-…you know – the Wizard style really helps improving the looks of Plantsims… or in short: Plantwizards /witches are
probably now my favorite freaks of nature…-

-… unfortunately, no job in Science today…-
‘But again one in entertainment… I have maxed Charisma before growing up, and entertainment sounds fun, can’t I…?...’

-… but at least we got another few promotions… first TCO…-

-… and then Daughter-1/Rose as well...and since working times fit, it was back to work right away… -

-… I… hope he wants to learn it for Science…and not… ew….-

-… so while Son-1 researched making zombies… Ultimata came home, making it to the top of the culinary career and
thereby unlocking this career path permanently for Instant City…-
‘… well, I guess, this can be called an achievement, despite the fact, that the majority of people in this city are sunlight
consuming Servos, Bigfoots with a gold flower badge and Plantsims… ‘

-… and then Daughter-1 ‘triumphantly returned, while the player wet himself’….wow, your ventriloquism is really good ‘and I
like to be your puppet for a change’… stop that… -

-…. And TCO returned as well, and that‘s basically it with the promoting for today…-

-…and now for some touching moments of family bonding…-
‘Brother… I think you know, that only one of us is worthy to usur… inherit father’s wealth, legacy and empire… an d as the
older one of us – though that doesn’t mean anything attraction wise, as I’m just about to become 5 days old – it should be
me. Now, are you for me, or are you with me against Dad or are you dead meat… ehrr, wood?’
‘… hm? Sorry, I wasn’t listening to whatever your were rambling about, Sis, I’m busy researching how to make a zombie
hare… army, a zombie army…’

‘…. You are disgusting, brother… a zombie harem… *shudder*… very good! That means, that I’ll automatically inherit
everything, if Dad finds out… now I just have to speed up the process of inheritance…‘

And after this melodramatic crap… inivisible witches bringing Outing rewards! Actually, I have that a lot with witches and
wizards, they come and go invisible and then fly off on their brooms, or rather the brooms fly off by themselves… truly, it’s
magic! -

- Back with Son-1, he ditched the so far ‘fruitless’ research on the possibility of vegan zombies for now and instead
decided to work on his Cleaning Skill for his new job….-
‘Hm… interesting … I wonder whether it’s possible to cleanse…ehrr… clean the world with zombies…’

‘… please don’t tell me, you mean me, Dad… it’s Son-1, not ‘Someone’…at least leave me some dignity…’

-… iis an Electronic Shop/ Gambling Den, with a Flamingo light on the Outside indicating it - that‘s why the name…. Actually,
I made the lot for my apocalypse challenge once -sized it down with Mootildas Lotadjuster at MTS.com to 1x1…-

-… oh, and the reason for the electronic shop is , because we finally need a place where to buy robots…-
‘I thought, there were enough robots in the neighborhood?’
- I mean household robots – plus putting up new servo templates up for sales is easier then getting a Gold Robots
badge…-
‘Ehrr… I do not have Gold Robots badge…’
- Oh, but you will, soon….-

-… and so Son-1 started to make robots in the basem… hey, wait a minute… you’re supposed to be making Robots! –
‘ Aw, come on… I’m so close at finding out how to make zombies that prefer tofu over brains…as long as it’s shaped like a
brain…’
-No – Robots now! The shop has to make money! -

‘Oh leave me alone… I called Ultimata over, she will make the robots… while I’m busy making a potion with brain flavor… no
zombie will resist…Muahahahaha…!’
- *sigh*…Sorry to burst your enthusiasm, Sonny, but you brought that on yourself… Sim Zombies might think about brains
all the time, but they don’t actually eat brains…-

- No, they eat the stuff other Sims eat too…-

-… so foiled once again, Son-1 sought advice by the only person with some expertise about evil plans who wasn’t also
family…. –
‘… and now I feel increasingly wary about the whole situation: On the one side, becoming an evil mage and being able to
make zombies would fit with my love life… but then Dad would disinherit me…or add another grave to his cemetery… but if I
go white, who’s to say that I can actually still do evil things? My sister is a moron, who is to say that this isn’t exactly
because she is infallibly good? Okay, so Mrs. Engler seems to be smart, alright, but she’s an NPC, so….’

‘Wooh – kid, stop right there, the great and powerful Link can’t process so many words at a time…’
‘Oh… … soooo …anything helpful aside from just pretending to understand…?’
‘ But of course! Become an Eevil wizard, like the great and powerful Link! Nobody will be able to withstand you… well except

date once in a while to keep me plat would suffice… and it’s not like you ‘d need to watch…’

-… so eventually , Son-1 stopped tormenting Link with the ‘ewwy’ … -
‘…So after reading a bit about cleaning, I’m thinking about cleaning up the entire world with zombies… of course, zombies
are rather messy, but if they are teenage zombies, we could reeducate them to prefer it clean rather than messy…’
‘… ehrr, wouldn’t it be easier to educate them about that while they are still alive?’
‘well, sure, but then they wouldn’t be zombies, and I need zombies to clean the world with zombies…’
‘… how would you get the people for the zombies anyway?’
‘Oh I have already though about a variety of ways , like a giant fly swatter….’

-…so after a few more hi-jinks - at least I hope it’s hi-jinks - eventually Link probably made the smartest decision in his life
and decided – to take a run, involving the classical excuse of ‘I…. Ehrr… left the grilled cheese on the stove, gotta run!’…-

-… so have succesfully driven off the arrogant yet incompetent Link…-

-…. Also, Link helped to get the shop to Level 1, so he’s not totally useless…-

-… and after getting the unnecessary side plot out of the way – sorry, I make pics without thinking about a good story and
just keep them in – next stop: Perk land… unlike TCO, apparently I gave Ultimata all the Perks she could get for her two
businesses…-

-….which she then transferred to Son-1, so anymore Level for this Business is actually kinda pointless, but we still need a
Business Tycoon to unlock Business, so a few more Level 10-Businesses sound like a good idea… also, we still need robots,
so go make them!-

-… oh for… ROBOTS! –
‘Sorry, but I want to raise my magic abilities…’
‘… And I want to make money by giving financial advice, which is faster than building robots… btw, it’s interesting that even
on a Community lot, you can give advice… we could open an entire exchange that way and…’
- Hey, rulebubbling is my pet peeve…!... Oh, do what you want, I don’t care…-

-… so after some time, Son-1 was able to max his magical skill, at least in the neutral direction… and the reason why he’s not
good nor evil yet is actually because I wanted an evil wizard, but since he’s already throwing wants for certain spells, I’ve
decided to wait with the evil for now till the business reaches level 10 , before he wants to summon roaches…-

- …Link, as much as like to pick on him, was actually quite helpful, leaving Ultimata the time to make some more money via
the computer… and soon he and Son-1 became best buddies…-

-… but to keep Son-1’s aspiration up… well I thought he and Link could date…-

‘I’ll let that slide, simply because you’re into zombies and had your own share of discrimination… so instead, we tried out
some of the magic spells, like calling the spectral cat, stopping time on the lot, calling a magic servant etc…-

-… but of course, eventually he started to throw a few more difficult wants, like wanting to see ghosts… fortunately, daddy
had already provided for that…-

-… though the ghosts took their sweet little time first, so we needed to spend the day with doing some Yoga... -

-… luckily they then decided to show up the next night, whining about their missing grave, because it wasn’t placed at the
sidewalk anymore…-

-… and then the scaring finally started… -
‘BOO – I’m gonna make you pee!’

‘ BOO – You didn’t pee last time, so I scare you some more – BOO!’

-… eventually, giggling at the ghosties became boring, so it was time to return back to the electric flamingo…-

-… one more time, canned laughter, one more time… so we finally, finally started making robots…-

-… and soon, Ultimata got her Bronze Badge…-

-… and then Son-1 caught on by getting a Bronze badge himself… also, the shop made 7.5 Million Simoleons respectively

-… aand here we lost 2 Unis…. Well at least we got a Silver Badge…-

-… and here Ultimata gets her Gold Robot Badge…-

-… and here we earn 2 Unis again…of course, Son-1‘s motives were a bit drained by now, so before we moved to his Gold
Robot Badge… -

-… we decided to go for a little party of poker at the Gaming Den, here in the Electric Flamingo! –

-… still, the poker night was a success, also gave Son-1 an additional Logic point…-

-… and then it was back to Badge earning… also, another 6 Unis… -

-… and finally Gold. Now, I could have already made all the robot classes, but considering, that it’s all about the Business
level, we just made these little toy robots to be sold…-

-… and open the shop, we need to make money…-
‘We’ve already made more than enough money! Almost 200 Million Simoleons – if we would add up to 200 Unis now, our
Sim-Multiplikator would be 1000 – not to forget the 1000 CAS-Sims we could add… so our City could have 1 Million
Inhabitants right now!!!’
- Yeah, you’re right… but it’s such fun to play right now, so I’m not gonna add any Unis until an Ingame-baby is born and
becomes a teen that can go to Uni…besides, I’m really interested now, how long it takes till the Money meter breaks…-

-… so the shop opened and we started with a ticket machine…-

-… Not-Komei gave us a good review on his first visit – no price though… cheapskate…-

-… and we reached Level 3 before I could even take a picture of level 2…-

-… in fact, we even managed to get Son-1 his Bronze Sales Badge before anybody realized, that there was nobody qualified
enough to work the Cash register and started throwing bags…-

-… and now something new for me – Son-1 is the first Sim I ever had that had all 25 Business Perks activated… I always
wondered, what would happen if a Sim got all of them… well nothing happened except what the Perks promised… oh
well…-

-… in any case, Sims didn‘t just roam the lower shop, but also frequented the Gaming Den the floor above – the majority of
them Servos usually kicking the butts of all Sims crazy enough to challenge them…-

-…in other News, Son-1 got his Silver Register Badge…-

-…. And then we switch, with Ultimata working the register, while Son-1 sells the Toy Robots…-

-…some networking gifts – who doesn‘t like people who gift you expensive computers?...-

-… and finally, Gold Sales badge for Son-1 … also, some more training with the magic spells, like the spectral assistant…-

-… and silver for Ultimata…-

-… I’m writing this household for an entire week so far, you can’t criticize me for taking a shortcut…-

problematic, because with so many up here, nobody would buy anything downstairs, so Son-1 earning his register
badge was a bit stalled…-

-… and that‘s basically it this chapter with the Electric Flamingo… aw good… we just stuffed the shop with some more robots
before leaving, setting everything to extra cheap, so now everyone can buy a Servo or other robot really cheap instead of
getting a badge first… -

-… of course, we’re nowhere near finished…-

more… so it was finally time to go home…-

carpool arrived again, to take everyone to work and promotion, first Daughter-1…-

-… and then TCO, who‘d also had thrown another, make it to the top of the dancing career‘ want… -

-… also, we got the usual ‘Y U Nu Call’ messages, and earned another 6 Unis…-
‘Hehehe… I’m the richest Sim in existence, and soon I’ll be a world class ballet dancer too… TCO will lift the restriction, I will
rise to the top and then…’
-… conquer the world?-
‘Exactly… finally, everything is going exactly as ‘I’ have planned it…’

‘… I got promoted – to Lab assistant…’

-… so while Son-1 calmed down by making chocolate, Daughter-1 returned, promoted to knight of the round table (probably
the most awesome Sims 2 job ever)…-

everyone, including Professor Disc… Hurray! -

-…yeah, even with his goal of becoming a dancer within reach, Professor Disc seemed a bit …preoccupied… not even the
fact, that no one else but the great and something something -Link had come to his lot to deliver an Outing reward could
shake him up….-

‘Yes!... I mean why? I’m a good Father, aren’t I?’

-…. So for the weekend, everyone pretty much did his own thing: Son-1 worked on the culinary machine to distract himself
from not having the peace and quiet to think about a good plan how to usurp his Dad, Professor Disc played the Gamer
Career Pinball machine to distract himself from never winning the father-of-the-year-award, and Daughter-1/Rose worked
on the Dancing Career Reward Ballet bar to distract herself from the fact, that she suddenly wasn’t the main focus anymore
like in the last part…well that and not having the peace and quiet to think about a good plan how to usurp her Dad…. I’m
starting to see a pattern here…. -

-… well, Son-1 ‘s mood eventually was lifted a bit by the fact, that he was promoted once more to Field Researcher…-

-… and even Daughter-1/Rose and her Dad got a bit on better feet… ehrr, terms… as they shared a session at the ballet
bar…-
‘Higher… higher! Dad, if you want to be a world class ballet dancer, you need to stand on your toes…’
‘AUHUGH… I can’t, I think I’ve broke something… *snif*… that looked so much easier when I watched it on TV… still , thanks
for the lesson… by the way, Daughter…. Am I bad father?’

-… eventually, Daughter-1/Rose left her Dad without any further information to the quality of his fatherhood and left – for
CAMELOT! –

-… just to run right into a chance card: Sir Lostalot, the only rival of Daughter-1 for the role of the King (and most loved by
the crowd) has suggested that the round table be converted into a square table to better find his seat. Should Daughter-1
agree with the preposterous idea or challenge the fallacious knight? –
‘How dare he?! I wanted to suggest that! – seriously, big tables are always square in Sims 2, and the small round ones count
as square - and now he thinks he can beat me to the punch? Have at thee!’

play along, and the park was opened… of course, Eaxis ingenious game mechanic actually doesn’t allow children as visitors,
so only adults and some teens showed up… and they were much more interested into the two snack machines at the front,
which I learned, could also be marked as ‘sellable’ and the goods from them would sell for money…-

-… and they are a rather big hit among customers – we reached Level 1 with rather little effort… only problem there is, is
that customers will just drop the stuff they eat, and then complain about the trash and give negative stars… jerks…-

-… of course, the playground was still a success, like today, where we earned 8.5 Universities…-

-… and even Daughter-1/Rose, despite the fact, that she seemed rather displeased about this little father/daughter
excursion so far, was eager to help the business by earning her Bronze toy badge…-

road. In this case, I moved the Museum one step to the left to the end of the road – it’s actually stupid, that we can’t place

-… and then place the last Community Business that graces the island, the Jefferson Park Pool by ambers_journey at
MTS.com… I basically tried to have some variety with the Community Lots and Businesses, and a Pool was literally the last
thing I wanted to try out, being afraid first, that we would have dozens of Servos jumping into it and then running unison
amok… luckily, Servos aren’t interested at all into jumping into a pool, so we were good… as for the question, why, after the
playground, the Professor now thinks that a Pool would help for Parent-Children-Bonding… come on, you can probably
answer that yourself by now… -

-… but was came as a surprise to me was the following… you see, in Germany, the game ‘Marco Polo’ isn’t really known,
only the variant blind man’s bluff, which isn’t played in water… but somebody really, really smart (…)translated it that way,
so I could never figure out how to play ‘blind man’s bluff’ in Sims 2 – until now…. Yep, that’s language barriers for you…_

– I could, so an observatory in the future is another possible business idea, but unfortunately, it doesn‘t lead to abduction…-

that this season has been kind of a blast… my kids grew up, we were a bit distant at the start, but really started to bond at
the end… also, that should take care of seeing a doctor soon, I got a lot of cold chills this spring…’

- Annd – done! Yes, that’s right – Son-1/Robin got abducted… and the nickname still makes sense, if we look at who got
constantly abducted and/or captured in the old Adam West –series… ;) – also, the abduction started still in Spring, but due
to the animation sequence – forgot to deactivate that one – the abduction carried over into Summer… and since I always
play a household till every household member is back home again, we will therefore wait, till he gets back from his
abduction…-

-… of course, everyone was shocked by Robin/Son-1’s abduction…-
