Workshop with DigiFin at the living staircase at Bede Campus, Sunderland College, 7th
February

Leon Axon who is the creator and sole member of DigiFin is a videographer and photographer.
Axon creates short films, adverts, promotional content with both video and film for all different
people and businesses.
He started off his business simply creating content using his iPhone and later progressed to using
professional cameras and editing software's just over a year after starting the business.
His previous clients include Aston Martin, BMW, Bentley, Ringtons, Chilli Mangos, David Lloyd,
Harrison Brown and many more.
From Axon I learnt more about independently owning a media company and how you can simply
create a business using simple technology that you already have available, such as your phone.
At this workshop, we were given a task of creating a short, roughly 60-second-long advert to
promote the college to international students. We were given one hour to film, and another hour
to edit the piece together.
After the workshop, a group of us were asked to stay back to help with a specific video idea that
Axon was filming of himself. With I was in control of his camera.
